Personal Writing
I began writing articles about a chronic illness I have, CML, because of a lack of awareness for the disease, especially for young sufferers. Not a lot is written about chronic cancers, and when I was diagnosed I felt very alone in my experience. Writing about my CML has lead me to be a guest blogger for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the "Mission Moment" Speaker at the 2015 LLS Black Tie Ball in Kansas City.
