Hi, I’m Isabel.
I research & write about the way the design of things—from government incentives and financial structures to apps and objects—relates to behavior and social meaning. I also create videos and other forms of media dedicated to exploring similar topics and envisioning brighter futures.
I produce music and DJ as Bell Curve, envisioning other worlds through sound. From 2017-2024 I ran a record label/party series dedicated to supporting producers of forward thinking bass music, called Worst Behavior Recs, based in NYC.
